I have the Plex Media Player installed on an iMac running macOS 10.15, getting ready to connect it to my TV. I like how it looks in List view while in TV mode matching how I view my videos on the Apple TV app. But when I go into the first folder level, it reverts back Grid. Am I doing something wrong making this happen? The Apple TV app stays in List the entire time, but the Media Player keeps changing back. I have “Remember Selected Tab” enabled in Settings. In the first picture below, I have chosen List View. But as soon as I go into one of the folders, in reverts back to Grid, and now option to change it back to List.
The Plex Media player is in a End of Life State and won’t get any updates.
You should switch to the new Plex HTPC client:
