Plex Media Player has dissapeared

I’m not sure what else to call this other than a disappearance. I went to open PMP like I always have and instead of it opening the way I would expect I now get opening is a browser window view of plex like I would if i opened the web client. My remote does not work but instead I need to use my mouse the way I would in a browser window. I uninstalled the app and reinstalled. Same result. I am running PMP on Mac OS Sierra 10.12.2 on a Mac Mini (Late 2012). Any help would be appreciated.

You are in whats called desktop mode which is a new feature as of 1.2.1. Click on the TV icon in the upper right to switch back to TV mode.
