I keep getting crashes.
I have just reinstalled my pc, i have tried this on the windows store download the version from the plex web site and the client running on chrome, all 3 crash.
I tried it on my phone and it didn’t crash
server is running on Synology nas 1815+
any help would be amazing im stuck

You are correct I watched the same file for over an hour no problem.
As soon as a ran a scan it crashed.
Any ideas why this has started happening?
Or what I can change

I don’t need anything more. The devs can reproduce themselves in various way. I don’t have an ETA for fix
I’ve the same issue. On windows crash randomly (WAN connection) but it’s ok on iOS devices (LAN connection)
yea still happening not sure if its worth going back a version on the pc or server but just waitng for the word from the devs

Same issue on a LAN connection. Started happening after the last server / desktop updates.

There was an update today. My Desktop client has been playing Live TV without issues for 6 hours today, so well done Plex team!
The update was a long time ago. The last update for HTPC was 6 days ago, last update for web and desktop was 13 days ago.

Both my computers on Win11 Desktop App’s updated yesterday. Did not find any release notes so not sure but my both Plex apps are 1.88.1.96 now and have not shown issues with Live TV anymore.
