Server Version#: 1.21.4.4079
Player Version#: 4.29.2
I am running Plex Media Player on Windows 10 and cannot access the Live TV on Plex feature. I also am using Plex on my Roku which does have the Live TV. I seem to have the latest version of Plex Media Player. What do I need to do so I can see Live TV on Plex using Plex Media Player?
Ditto / Bump.
Same Win 10, same player version. I just installed Plex Media Server last month, and I think that during installation maybe I somehow did something stupid that cut off my access to “Live TV” and “Movies & Shows” only on that desktop.
When I open Plex Media Player on another Windows 10 computer on the same network, I can find and enable Live TV and Movies & TV in Online Media Sources. But when I open the Player on the computer hosting the server, neither of those are listed.
So I can watch, say, Crackle everywhere on my Plex network except on the computer that’s hosting the server. That’s not so awful, but I wonder if there’s an easy way to fix it on my host computer too.
PMP as such was “feature-frozen” before Live TV & Movies was introduced.
For the time being, use Plex for Windows instead. There will be a new app with 10-foot UI soon (-ish).
