Does the media player update itself? I haven’t noticed any changes since I first downloaded it when it came out.
It will not update automatically, but it can automatically check for updates (if enabled in settings) and when it finds it, will download and inform you of the update. You still have to click YES to then run the update.
Edit - The current version is 1.1.4. What are you running? You can also keep up with the releases here, https://forums.plex.tv/discussion/190085/plex-media-player#latest.
