If I replace a series episode with a new file with another name then the old file. Plex still recognize the old file as part of the series, even if the file does not exist anymore. So according to plex I have miultiple files for the episode, but one file is missing, and Plex also says that the episode is unavailable, but the episode is playable. Have tried empying trash, but that does not help. The only sollutions I have found is either when you replace the files, first remove the files and do a scan, then after the scan is done add the new file(s) and scan again. Or after move away the files to a location not seached by plex and then do a scan and then move them back to do a new scan. Both these solutions I don´t like because then the episodes get in top of “Recently Added”. Is there another solution to this?
