Plex Media Scanner - not updating library (automatically or on schedule)

I found that if you analyze the folder and then scan that will fix the issue on Windows

I started running into this problem, however, I realized I had a few drives that had the same name. After rebooting the computer, the drives did not identify in the same order, so the incorrect drive was being associated through the name. I’ve later gone in and adjusted my drives to different names and verified the mapped drive letters to prevent this from happening again. System works flawlessly now.

I know this is an old thread but my server stopped scanning automatically today.
I had previously stopped an auto scan that was in progress as it had been stuck doing that for some time.

I assumed that stopping one in progress would not stop a new auto-scan from happening but that wasn’t the case. I had to initiate a new scan from the Manage>Library screen but that has done the trick and auto-scans are back and working!

Has there been a way to resolve this issue identified? I have been encountering the issue for over a month now.

I got the exact same problem I got to manually scan for library to get updated. This happened a few days after the latest update on Manjaro Linux. Not sure the update is the problem though. My media is stored on other NTFS drives internal and external ones, if it was the drives I would have thought that even a manual scan would fail but it works.
