Plex Media Server 1.13.5.5291 - Synology RS2212+ DSM 6.2-23739 Update 2

Attempting to run the new Beta update of PMS (there was a Synology DSM update yesterday as well). Running PMS 1.13.5.5291 results in server not being visible. On uninstall and reinstall of 5271 all is fine. For now I am sticking with 5271. Any thoughts from Plex team would be appreciated. Thanks

Same problem here but with 5271 version

With 5291 I am unable to reach the server at all - so unable to get to the settings. I’ve just updated to 5291 again and receive “The server “RackStation” is unreachable. Make sure it’s running, double check your network, and try again.” as well as in “server” “Server settings are unavailable.” Network is fine and 5271 runs relatively smoothly (although some inconsistency today with remote access dropping - which is also new, as port forwarding is set correctly). Thanks

Thank you again. Rackstation is now visible and remote access connected at http://Your-NAS-IP-Address:32400/web - not yet visible, oddly at Plex.tv or via Plex Media Player. Sonos is able to see the library - critical for me.

Of course as I send that reply both Plex.tv and PMP now show the sever

Correct - with 5291 and the most current DSM updates from yesterday, including remote access. Thanks for the help on this.

thanks again - for this setting - if it is set to “All” is this correct, or must it be set to the local network IP address?

Update - just set this to the IP address and now server unreachable.

Thanks - did so.

It did not - have reset it to “all” and now appears working again. What is the purpose of specifically identifying the ip address?

Thanks again @trumpy81 - my Plex server is situate on my Synology - that IP does not change - will this permit me to use PMS reliably with the “all” setting - or in these cases is the preferred approach to identify the IP specifically? I may not be understanding “more than one IP address available” comment. Thx

Got it thanks again for another helpful reply. Likely unrelated (and I can post to another topic) is there an specific setting that will assist in ensuring ongoing robust remote access connections. There seem to be drops from time to time. Thanks again.
