Synology NAS, Plex server missing

Hello folks, I have a Synology DS918+ that I have been running Plex media server on for several months now with zero issues. Today I came home to my Plex server not being accessible. I uninstalled Plex from my NAS and re-installed/updated back to the recent Plex server version for Synology. My server still does not show up regardless of how I launch Plex. I can no longer access Plex via the IP address that is assigned to my NAS. I can launch Plex via Plex.tv, but the server option is not available there either. My friends servers do show up there. I hope someone out there has the answers.

It sounds as if your local IP address of your Synology DS918+ may have changed. Go in to your router and check the IP address currently assigned to your Synology. If it is this, test with the new IP address and make it static so it doesn’t happen again.
