Plex Media Server already installed in QNAP NAS but still redirecting to Install server download page

I have QNAP NAS TS453U RP and Plex Media Server Version 1.23.4
When I click on Your Media It shows me Add Media Plex Server and redirects to Media Plex Download page again can you please let me know what could be the issue.

Make sure to complete the setup of your newly installed Plex Media Server.
To do that, open the bundled version of Plex Web on that server by using its local IP address from within the same network (http://[QNAP IP address]:32400/web).

This should bring up the setup wizard where you’re asked to name your server, link it to your account and optionally to create a first set of libraries.
Once the server is linked to your account, you can also access it through other Plex apps (e.g. the hosted web app).

Hi Tom80H,
Thanks for your reply but it is not asking for configuring the server on the address you mentioned I am in the same network as you can see in the image.

This is the video(Media Plex Server Issue 01 - YouTube) of what all options I am getting in my Media Plex Server Installation, please let me know if I am missing something , I am not sure where can I complete the whole configuration process it is not giving me any option to do so.

I just noticed your NAS is running an older version of PMS. Is this actually a new install or did you already have a Plex Media Server installed on that NAS (and potentially linked to a different account)?

If you enter http://[QNAP IP address]:32400/identity – does the resulting xml file contain an attribute claimed="1"?

If the server (or a previous install) had been linked to a different Plex account, your options are

  1. sign in with that account, unlink the server, switch to your main/current/new account and re-link it to that account
  2. Why am I locked out of Server Settings and how do I get in? | Plex Support

This is what is shown in my xml file

Are you in the same subnet as the NAS?
In that case the IP address of the device you’re using to access the QNAP should also have an IP address starting with 10.0.2.x.

Is that an issue my subnet is different it is starting with 10.0.7?
What options do I have now I am not sure I can get ip in the range of 10.0.2 I have admin access on NAS can’t i do it from there ?

I am able to access the NAS from this system so 10.0.2.15 is accessible.

You can access it but you cannot setup/claim your server from a different subnet.

An alternative might be to use a 3rd party script on the NAS using SSH.

Thanks @tom80H ,
This worked like a charm and now I am able to add the server.
