Plex Media Server - Cannot access through web app

Hello, I have been using PMS for a while now on my DS918+
but recently I cannot access media server files via the web browser interface, it only shows web videos etc
I also have 4 android tablets, and have the issue on 1 of these, the other tablets and my iphone can still access everything, so the media server is running.
I’m at a loss as to why I cannot see my media on Windows 10 PC, nor can i see any of the options from the help articles I’ve looked at already to search for the server in the web app.

The Plex app from windows store on the same device does access files too, so this is more confusing as to why it isn’t showing my server in web browser (have tried through firefox and chrome)

Any ideas? Be very grateful to get this sorted!

Are you actively scanning a large audio library when this happens?

This could be a network issue, create a new lease on Android device. Disconnect WiFi and connect again.

If that fails, delete your Device in the server settings / Authorized Devices and re-link your device to Plex.

no i have a reasonably large library, but haven’t added any media recently, and i can’t rescan library files as i can’t access my server

have also cleared all entires in autorised devices for browser (firefox) and the affected tabl;et but still no joy in showing on deck on my server
