Ok problem solved and thank you to the support rteam for all their help and patience. After days of frustration it turns out that a complete windows reinstall on the computer fixed the blockage. I did make some hardware changes to the PC prior to the issues, so something must have gone wrong in windows. I tried installing PMS on a laptop on the same network and everything worked fine which prettyy much confirmed it was an issue with my PC. It’s not the solution you want to use but if you have the same symptoms it did, it might work for you.
