I can tell you it was the same crash as seen due to iOS and tvOS devices playing back with Automatic Quality Adjustment enabled.
Is there any ETA on a patch for the server for said bug? If not, what version of the server can I safely downgrade to until a patch is available? How can I downgrade without losing my database/metadata?
Thanks!

The fix is in the next release and is currently in testing.
Thanks for the update!!! I was starting to worry, because everything ELSE was being updated (not PWS).

Ok, I will delete all logs, start fresh and go through your steps. I currently have a restart script to re open plex when it crashes. I know notice it will crash 8 - 10 times in one night during scheduled tasks.

Hi
Did the memory allocation errors issue and related subsequent crashes go away ?
I now have another user with these errors and Bitdefender is not running. All other users with this found that uninstalling Bitdefender fixed the issue. I am trying to establish common factors
A problem was recently identified in Plex Media Server that resulted in too many threads created which in effect would end up being like a memory leak - after a while the Plex Media Server.exe process reaches the maximum memory it can run with - 2Gb and memory allocations start to fail which would also lead to the process crashing out
Plex Media Server version 1.12.3.4947 has the fix for this memory leak and it has just been released as Beta
