Plex Media Server v1.27.0.5897-3940636f2 - Microsoft PC x64 - build: windows-x86 windows
(updated today, though same issue has persisted for weeks)
Windows 7, i7-4770 3.40GHz, 16GB ram, 1x attached USB drive, 2x attached NAS drives
System has been running fine for years.
Drive was cloned from a physical disk to an SSD about 3 or 4 months ago.
For the past 2 or 3 weeks, Plex has been crashing at random, sometimes up to 5 or 6 times a day.
Other times it may go by for a whole day without a crash.
UptimeRobot & Tautulli will alert me, or I’ll discover it myself when trying to open PlexAmp or a Plex app.
I’ll have to RDP in, & re-run the Plex executable.
At times, it will immediately crash again within minutes, other times hours later.
All the logs I read (attached) seemingly just end with "[JobRunner] Job running: “C:\Program Files (x86)\Plex\Plex Media Server\CrashUploader.exe”
But nothing clear (to me at least) as to why, or what caused it…
A few days ago I began switching off Plex’s scheduled tasks, whitelisting whole files & folders for Sophos Security & simply killing local apps & processes in an attempt to resolve or to see what the outcome may be. Though nothing has changed.
Im new to reading & understanding Plex’s logs.
Any help or guidance
