Server Version#: 1.26.0.5715
My Plex server has been starting to crash unexpectedly and is becoming more frequent (every other day or so).
Happy to PM logs to someone working for Plex.

Mine started doing this about 2 weeks ago, I have to restart it daily. Seems to crash on a recording stopping… any help much appreciated?

Yes, mine started about two weeks ago too. I do have recordings happening but I can’t say if the stopping of the recording is when the crash happens yet. I do know it isn’t all the recordings because I have multiple recordings each day and Plex isn’t crashing after each one of them.
I will say, I did have to Clear Bundles and Optimize Database for some other strange behavior last night. The server was slow to respond or never would. Restarting didn’t help. The Clear Bundles and Optimize Database seem to have helped a bit, though the server still feels a bit sluggish. Not sure if any of this is related to the crashing.

I´m having the same experience with mine. I´ve enabled the debug logging to trigger the problem in the logs.

If you find anything please let us know! Mine’s just crashed after it finished recording a tv show… ARRGGHHH… who else can we raise this with?
So far Plex has been ignoring this thread.
Plex, why is the thread not receiving your attention?
Tizwas posted a similar thread a couple weeks ago and receive no Plex support too.
Okay, I just saw my server crash after finishing a DVR recording.
Have you tried the 1.26.1.5762 release?
Gleiche Problem seit dem vorletzten Serverupdate. Server stoppt zufällig mehrmals am Tag. muss händisch wieder neu aktiviert werden. Habe keine Veränderungen am Server in dieser Zeit vorgenommen.
Nervt ungemein - stĂĽrzt teilweise bei der Wiedergabe von Filmen ab.

My Plex Server has started crashing randomly over the past couple of days. Sometimes after only minutes.
Was running 1.26.0.5715 but after reading this thread I did update to the beta 1.26.1.5762 in the hopes that fixes anything.
Like everyone else, I have logs, etc.

auch nach ddem Dritten Update gleiches Problem besteht weiter- jetzt gefĂĽhlt stĂĽndlicher Absturz
After installing this beta release, I have not witnessed any further crashes.
Same issue. started crashing about two three weeks ago… I do NOT record in plex. its annoying as heck… i am downloading the may 11 update to see if it helps. …but i have been using plex for at least 15 years… and never saw this before.
