Hello.
I am using plex for about 3 years and 4-5 days ago my plex media server running on windows stopped working properly.
After a reboot my plex server works just fine on remote connection with a direct connection. As soon as i start a movie it buffers for a bit, it sucks all my upload bandwidth (about 500mbps) and not even 1 minute into the movie i get all of these problems:
I can’t access my ip:port/web on a remote network. It gets stuck with a big plex splash screen.
I tired to use the plex client app instead of a browser. It loads correctly and when i go in my gallery of movies, all of them have a grayed thumbnail. I tried to play them with no transcoding, using just direct play but all of them buffer forever.
What i tired to do but nothing works:
I set a bunch of different ports for plex instead of using upnp.
I tired to disable windows firewall and windows defender.
I tried other types of media.
I tired multiple devices with different ip addresses and different isp s (an android phone, another computer, an android tv). All of them have the same problem.
What dose work:
It runs great with no problems in my local network.
All i get in the console is:
Failed to stream media, client probably disconnected after 131899 bytes: 10054 - An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host
