My Windows computer (Lenovo Thinkstation s30) that ran my PMS (but did not hold my media files) died after a power outage on 1/13. At first it was still visible on my account as “disconnected”. After about 2 days of Plex not being able to connect to my server, it disappeared from my account completely. I would like to know why this happened. Also, if I am able to access the PMS application from the hdd (either via fixing the computer or using a hdd enclosure), would the server reappear?

Your clients only know of your server as a reference. If it’s no longer available (e.g. because it died or is no longer accessible) or it’s deleted from the list of authenticated devices, that reference will also be dropped from your account/clients.

If you can get the device to work and the app / server data directory are intact (or can be restored from a backup), you should be able to revive the server.
That being said… keep in mind: the server as such resided 100% on your device. None of that is stored online by Plex.
