Plex media server installed but cant add library

So I have Plex Media Server installed, but I cant add any media to my library because according to Plex, I have not installed Plex Media Server, but I have installed Plex Media Server, but I can’t add media to Plex, because I don’t have Plex Media Server installed according to Plex…

are you using 127.0.0.1:32400/web on the machine it is installed?

was there a previous install on this machine before? if so I would try this https://support.plex.tv/articles/204281528-why-am-i-locked-out-of-server-settings-and-how-do-i-get-in/

and have you tried an incognito/private window?

I just saw as I was typing this you added a screenshot. and are using Brave. I would turn off the brave shield til you get things set up

Doesn’t work on Edge either and on Chrome I just get:

Plex is not reachable

Worked to delete these files in regedit:

  • defaults delete com.plexapp.plexmediaserver PlexOnlineMail
  • defaults delete com.plexapp.plexmediaserver PlexOnlineToken
  • defaults delete com.plexapp.plexmediaserver PlexOnlineUsername
