This is the third random instance I’ve had of a PMS crash. It went down for several hours today. These are logs after restart. It went down once last weekend, and I think once the weekend prior.
For the one last weekend, I was doing some heavy bouncing around on a remote instance/Samsung Tizen app when the server became unresponsive.
This time, I was doing nothing at all. Just noticed it was down earlier today.
It seems like the crash (in this case) occurred after a DVR recording completed at around 7am. It appears there were a couple things going on at the time:
Neither of these completes. Intro detection makes it to ~23%; the last thing it shows is that it is initializing detection for the just-completed recording.
It might be that the recorded file was corrupted enough to crash PMS; however, ad detection appears to have completed successfully.
If that file is on your system (Hot Bench (2014) - S12E59 - Gobble Guzzle Glass Shatter.ts), check it out to see if it will actually play without issue.
The episode appears to start fine. I’ll let it run for a while and see if I notice anything.
