Hey guys,
I upgraded my Mac mini server to Sierra last weekend, then again today (clean install).
I’m having some issues with Plex Media Server. (Starting to think it was a bad idea.)
I had some issues getting Plex to grab the cover-art for the TV shows etc, but somehow manually setting one kicked it off to do the rest on its own? Weird.
However…
When I view the server on the Apple TV app, it tries to connect for a couple minutes then shows the error:
“We couldn’t find any available content on the server.”
I can successfully browse a friend’s server that he shared with me on the app fine.
Also, if I go to the Server’s Web Interface, it shows “Loading dashboard”, then eventually errors out:
“There was an unexpected error loading the dashboard”.
Server Info:
macOS 10.12 (16A323)
Plex Media Server - 1.1.4.2757
What I’ve tried:
- Rebooted the Apple TV, erased all content and settings and reinstalled the app.
- Rebooted the Mac mini server.
- Reinstalled Plex Media Server (deleted all the Plex files from ~/Library/)
Anyone had any similar issues or have any ideas?

Tempted to erase install El Capitan again to test.
