I please need some help. Have tried different things over 2 days and no success. I can download v.1.32.8.7639-fb6452ebf and install it. After installation i get the following message. Move to application folder. When i click on move to application folder it does show in my applications folder. When i click on it the icon enlarges (like any other application that you open) but nothing happens from there. No window opens and also in the top bar normally it will show the plex sign but now it only shows for a split second and then disappears.
Ive had the sam issue just as you described. what I did was to just open the the one in downloads folder and when it ask you to move it, don’t. click no. it then should open up. its not the best solution but its what I do. hope that helps.
I’ve followed as I’m having a similar problem but with a 2011 Mac Mini that I’ve used OCLP to update to Sonoma 14.1.2. It worked on this OS version, on this drive, prior to moving the new SSD into the machine, and it uses the same external drives for the media. I’ve removed, reloaded, reinstalled, etc Plex Server, then installed Docker and tried to do it that way, but Docker notes, “init failed.”
I’ve got a longer post with all my technical details on a Reddit sub post, but hoping someone here might have more info.
