Plex Media Server not picking up changes all of a sudden

Server Version#: Version 4.34.2
Player Version#: All (Android, Windows, web client and iOS, all up to date)

I have both options on the server selected:

Scan my library automatically
Your library will be updated automatically when changes to library folders are detected.

Run a partial scan when changes are detected
When changes to library folders are detected, only scan the folder that changed.

And all of a sudden items are no longer being detected on their own. I’m not quite sure how to fix it. It used to work, and for years it had been working without issue. Now, I have to manually scan (even after waiting a few hours of new content being in their correct folders).

I downloaded the logs from the server, but it’s a Zip with many files. Should I upload a specific one? or just the entire ZIP?

Where are your media files located? (local, external, network… )
Did you point your plex libraries to folders or to “naked” drive letters?

Hi! The media files are located on an external HDD, it’s file structure D:\Plex Media

It’s been pointing there since the beginning (years ago).

Did you unplug/replug the drive while Plex server was still running?

No, I haven’t. Also, the server turns off daily from 1am to 6am, so it restarts regularly on its own.
