Hi there,
I recently got a new laptop and since have been unable to find or edit the library for my Plex media server. When attempting to open the ‘preferences’ on the Media Server App, it just takes me to the Plex webpage that’s blank. Im unsure where the library is supposed to be and can’t figure out a way to change it. Any help would be appreciated.
Plex setup after installation is done from Plex Web, which usually launches the default browser after you complete the installation, if it doesn’t, you can open your browser, and use the URL:
http://localhost:32400/web/index.html#!/setup
Plex of course has to be running, you should be able to see the Plex icon on the menu bar, from which you can also select “Open Plex” from the menu, which should also fire up the browser and if its a new installation, walk you through the setup.
