Plex media server on Macos keeps crashing randomly

I would love to get help with Plex Media Server on macos! It was rock solid until penultimate update and now it keeps crashing. Thought the last update would be better, but it seems worse. I would be happy to get installation files from an older version until the problem i fixed.

Post a set of debug level server log files that capture the crash. Do not enable verbose logging. Settings → Server_Name → General + Show Advanced.

Then, someone familiar with Plex Media Server on MacOS can take a look.

  1. Ensure Plex Media Server is configured for debug, not verbose, level log files.
  2. After the next crash, restart Plex Media Server and wait 2 - 3 minutes for it to fully start.
  3. Pull the log files (Settings → Troubleshooting) and post to the thread (drag the entire zip file into the compose window).

If possible, include a description of what was happening when Plex crashed - streaming, adding media, etc. Also if any error messages appeared and what was in the message.

Look in the Updates folder in the Plex Data Folder.

I wasn’t able to reproduce the problem after changing the streaming device (Roku 4k Stick). The old one must have been introducing some problem!
