Hello. I’m running Plex Media Server on an NVIDIA SHIELD, and so far it’s been issue after issue (transcoder does not like PAR on DVDs, libraries sometimes refuse). I would love to switch but I can’t AFFORD a $500 NAS. It takes like a whole minute to load episode metadata (https://i.imgur.com/79tgKZZ.jpg). It also buffers alot when playing video. I have Plex set to store the metadata on an external USB stick formatted as internal. Both devices are hooked in using Ethernet, and using LAN. Should I try WiFi? I have logging & DLNA disabled.
