Hi, I’m running Plex Media Server on Windows 10. Up until yesterday, I could access my Plex library via mobile devices on the same network (using the Plex app).
Now, the app reports “no servers found” when trying to access the library.
The Server Settings on PMS report “Not available outside your network” (shouldn’t matter should it? since it’s the same network?). The little graphic shows a connection between “private” and “public” servers, but not to the internet.
Again, everything worked fine until yesterday.
I have tried port-forwarding, uninstalling, reinstalling, deleting cache, reinstalling apps, signing in and out and pretty much everything on the troubleshooting page.
Any ideas?
Thanks
On the server and the clients, change secure connections to preferred instead of never. See if that helps.
Did that, connection between “Private” and “Public” server was disconnected.
After several restarts and manually reconfiguring the port forwarding on router, I’m back to the previous state (Private and Public connected, not connected outside to Internet).
I should mention that up until yesterday Plex worked “out-of-the-box”, without need to manually configure ports, open firewalls etc.
After looking at the “Reporting Issues” page, I’m attaching the Server logs as required.
Thanks!
Update:
Server is now recognized on Local Network (yes!!). Secured connections seemed to do the trick.
Still can’t connect to plex.tv, but at least I can view my media.
Thanks for the help!!
