and if the override conf file is already override.conf ??
If already override.conf , then I’m confused.
emd/system/plexmediaserver.service.d/.#override.confdc672cf8dcee6bac Modified

Group=plex
Looks like either in the process of being edited or something went haywire and left a stray file.
It should be nice and clean:
/etc/
systemd/
system/
plexmediaserver.service.d/
override.conf
If that’s what you have… Go for it
ls /etc/systemd/system/plexmediaserver.service.d
override.conf
Hmm, if i remove it and retry adding it? though i’m clutching at straws now
that looks good… You’re right where you need to be
sudo systemctl restart plexmediaserver
If that doesn’t work, I’ll get out my Teamviewer and beat some sense into it
Failed to start Plex Media Server
if you feel like bashing some sense into it, it would be very much appreciated
