ok so i have been riunning an amazing plex server using netdrive from a lenovo yoga pro2 - girlfriend can watch live tv in another location family uses and its amazing in my house…
i installed the last update and all of the sudden - it cant find the server on the same laptop that it exists…i redownloaded and even did a repair - it just cant find it and its the same computer…
i havent done anything and i have tried all of the things and read through many posts - should i just reinstall the server and let it manually readd my entire library?
Its like 25 TB or something at this point but i have no idea what happened…
Hi there, I’m having similar issues. Since the last update on 4-16 I can’t get my server to connect to my Samsung TV while on the some network. It keeps saying my server is “unavailable”. I have been able to connect on my Samsung S20 plex on and off. I am able to connect fine on my plex desktop player but that is about the only place that it is reliable. Prior to the update I was working fine for over 2 years. Nothing has changed network wise.
Here are the current version:
Desktop Plex player: 1.8.2.1192
Desktop Media Server: 1.19.1.2645
Samsung S20 Plex mobile app: 7.31.0.16802 ( 00d577ff)
Samsung TV plex app: 4.25.2
