Hi, i have a the latest Mac Mini running plex on it and have been using the latest version 9.6.1. i was having a minor issue of the movies, tv shows etc, not showing up every now and again in the media centre, restarting the server would fix this.
NOW the media server will not start up at all. trying to run it it would flash in the top bar the disappear. I have completely removed all attributes via mac keeper and removed the plex media centre as well. once trying to set it up the splash blinked for a second then disappeared, with nothing running in the background. i have to restart the computer to at least attempt this again and get the same result. Can anyone help me??? it also works fine on my iMac, so i’m thinking theres a hidden file somewhere on my mac mini thats corrupted and i don’t know where its hiding…
After you try starting the Plex Media Server, go zip up and attach the following logs to a reply here:
Plex Media Server.log<br />
PMS Plugin Logs/com.plexapp.system.log

Hey Chris i managed to get it going via the live chat support.
turns out i had 2 Apps trying to run on the same port and that caused plex not to load.
