While in the plex media sever on my computer in firefox when I click the settings icon and go to agents under plex media sever and make changes why aren't they saved? For example if I choose The Movie Database for my metadata and leave the settings window and come back it's back to the personal media. I'm on a windows 7 home premium os.

I think you're wrong. The configuration page don't define which agent you are using by default, just mean which are avaliable and the own agent configuration. The default agent is select the first time you create a "media folder" (Movies, TV Shows, etc) and select the type of content on it.
If you want to use another agent on a specific movie you have to go to movie options and select the new matching with the specified agent.

None of the metadata plex agents are working?????, I go to settings, agents and there is nothing there???, my tv show episodes are no loger getting the metadata and niether are my movies, all the stuff that I uploaded a while back are still showing all the data and stuff, but just last week is when the metadata stoped working, is this a glitch from the new DLNA stuff or have Plex changed that to only plexpass subscribers can only use the agents and metadata?
Very unhappy and this makes me no longer want to even think of getting a plexpass now, if this is a glitch then you'd think by now that they would know about it and fix it.
I have the exact same problem as Toxic71. I have upgraded to the latest version (without Pass) and still nothing. Are there any tips or fixes. I guess I am going to have to rebuild entire database but I'm worried to lose what already has cover art and metadata. Is doing it is both TV and Movie Sections. Manual scanning does not find matches.
