Plex menu takes 2 minutes to respond

Hey, sup guys? Im having i think this exact issue:

But like 6 years later. Been using plex for years and it always worked like a charm, now suddenly like a week ago this started happening when i stream plex from my redmi not 8 android phone, to chromecast.
This doest NOT happen when my gf streams from her iphone.
Basically, i click the stream icon and it launches plex on the tv, but then it takes some minutes to respond, the episode screen wont show until long after i pressed play in the phone.

I did a quick search and couldnt find much about this… so yeah.
