I didn’t know where else to put this but the issue I am having is that Plex is taking 2 movies and combining them together in the library layout. The movies in question are:
1. I Am Legend (2007)
2. Legend (1985)
I have these in 2 separate folders and named as above. No matter what I do, I can’t get them to not be combined. I have also gone through the metadata of each file to make sure nothing is crossed over and there is nothing there. I have had this issue in the past and I was able to fix it by removing one file from the movie directory on my server and then putting it back in, but for some reason, I can’t with this one.

What version of Plex Media Server?
If v1.20 or higher, which agent are you using, Plex Movie or Plex Movie (Legacy)?
Instead of just moving the files in/out of the library, do a full Plex Dance for both movies.
Add them back one at a time.
If Plex still combines them, then split them apart and perform a Fix Match on the one that is mis-identified.
Click on the three vertical dots in lower right corner of cover art to pull up the menu:

If you are using the new Plex Movie agent, you can add the IMDB/TMDB ID to the folder & file name. Plex will use it for matching.
See Naming & Organizing Your Movie Files for info on how to add the ID. Ex: Batman Begins (2005) {imdb-tt0372784}.mp4
To change from the legacy to new movie agent, see Scanners & Agents -> Upgrading a Movie library to the use the new Plex Movie Agent.
Include the year into the folder name as well.
Try a simple “Split”, followed by “Fix Match” on one of them.
