Ever since migrating server from old hardware build (Windows server 2016) to new hardware build (Windows server 2019 preview), Plex Mix has refused to work. This was in June.
I have performed multiple DB repairs, as described in this guide to no avail. Deleting and recreating the Library also does not fix the issue.
As a workaround, creating a secondary VM (Running Windows 10) with a new plex install and new library works. I’d prefer to fix the main install however. Creating an entire new install and losing TV/Movie watched status is not an attractive option.
I’ve done a fair amount of troubleshooting into this issue, and I believe I have narrowed it down to some weirdness in the database regarding the ‘gn_genre’ attribute. It almost looks like a locale setting is missing for my server.
Going through the logs, when the server fails to create a plex mix playlist, I get the following:
Sep 26, 2018 17:01:31.878 [10084] DEBUG - Request: [192.168.1.1:51566 (Subnet)] POST /playQueues?type=audio&shuffle=0&continuous=0&uri=library%3A%2F%2F275f36e5-7b08-40d9-8ee1-b5baa5c9363b%2Fdirectory%2F%252Fservices%252Fgracenote%252FsimilarPlaylist%253Fid%253D269111&includeRelated=1 (12 live) TLS GZIP Signed-in Token (username)

On the VM where Plex Mix works, this is the log detail

What I’m stuck at now is how I can possibly manually fix my database or set that locale setting (If this is truly the issue). Any help is greatly appreciated!
