Plex Multiroom setup using nvidia shield and firetv4k as clients

Hello,

My first post so please be gentle…?
I’m interested in setting up multiple TVs with firetv4k clients to watch hdhomerun via the Plex server running on nvidia shield and using Plex pass I’d also like option to record live TV…would the clients recordings be stored on the attached usb storage on the Plex server running on the shield, therefore no need for storage via usb on firetv4k clients etc…also interested to know if it’s possible to incorporate IPTV streams into Plex as well to give me access to my other channels etc
Any help and advice would be really appreciated…I already have the shield with 500gb and Plex server but not purchased anything else yet?

Correct. Recordings will in fact be stored in whichever Plex Library you have set to contain either TV Shows (one kind of Plex Library) or Movies (another kind of Plex Library).

Read through Support Articles regarding Live TV and DVR. Sign up for a monthly Plex Pass instead of shelling out for Lifetime Pass before you know if it will all work the way you need it to.
