When streaming Plex music to my Echo Dot via Alexa — if I open the Alexa app on my mobile phone and click the Play option – it doesn’t show Plex as playing a song — though when I am streaming via other services Radio.com, Amazon Music, Pandora etc — it does show that service and the name of the song currently Playing and I can click and control playback.
Is this a feature that’s going to be added? (so playback can be controlled from the Alexa mobile app)

I agree that this feature is needed, as it also means that you can’t change the volume via the app. Although that makes me think its an amazon issue, as the app does not know that plex is streaming even though the device does.
It would be very nice if plex had a proper integration like Spotify, amazon music and tunein. As this way it would have full control and show playlists etc.
I occasionally use amazon music but generally I am streaming from plex so a better integration would be a massive benefit.
