I built a new NAS and am trying to get my music library back the way it was before. I was stuck on an old version of Plex Server due to the age of my previous NAS.
Now that I am up-to-date, I am having a miserable time getting Plex to just use my MP3 tag info. It keeps trying to match my albums with online sources, and I have done everything I can to stop it. I can’t seem to diable these agents like last.fm, plex premium music, etc.
I have exhaustively tagged all my MP3s the way I like them. I have embedded awesome album covers. I have moved “Local Media Assets” to the top of every Artist and Album agent list. I don’t need or want these agent services, as they keep f’n up my presentation, mixing up my albums, and putting wrong covers on them.
How do I dumb this thing down and turn off all “Matching” for my music library? I can’t uncheck the boxes for these agents in Artists and Albums because the boxes are grayed out. I’ve stopped my library scan, disabled everything I can find, and when I add my MP3 library back, the Plex Server keeps seeking out this crap and overriding my MP3 tags.
