Plex music, Plex Amp

My siblings put together all of our CD’s and I’ve ripped several thousand of them into my plex music. The past couple years I’ve been listening and rating songs. Our plex music libraries are 99% identical. How can I share my ratings, playlists, etc. with them ?

As in „showing/exposing“ your ratings to them or copying them into their accounts?

Thanks for you’re interest, coping them to their accounts

You can already share playlists via the UI.

IIRC there’s third party tools that can export playlists and import them so others can also own the lists (adding/deleting items etc.)

Why do you want to copy YOUR ratings to THEIR accounts? I’ve painfully learned that me disliking a song doesn’t mean there won’t be somebody else who might actually like it (and vice versa).

very true, my brother is overwhelmed because the music library has so much in it. I just want to get him started.

I would suggest creating playlists that are based on your ratings, and then share those playlists with your brother. “5* Rated” “4&5* Rated”, even break it down by genre or style “5* Rated Progressive Rock Released in 1976”

If you don’t have many ratings yet yourself, you could also create album collections like “My Favorites” or “What I’m Jamming This Month”, as collections are available to all of your friends.

Thanks for your ideas! I started creating playlists based on Genre. I’ll keep at it, then share with my siblings
