i also took a look at the plex support page and I did my file naming exactly like the guide said… all tags are still correct… but sadly no pics for me
and no… pic size also isnt the problem… i just significantly lowered the res, but it didn’t helped

The old scanner is not maintained anymore and will likely disappear in next versions (v1.20?), I would hesitate to rely on it going forward.
You can prevent the new “Plex Music” scanner from looking up any metadata online by blocking a few domains like mbz.plex.tv and acoustid.plex.tv.
And again nope… after a resize to 1200x1200 my arts still wont work.
@certuna not viable for me… I still have Libraries, which heavily rely on Plex’s new scanner for online metadata collection…

okay so… i tried 400x400 and it didn’t worked… also… I tried the new Plex music scanner (with hosts blocking) and this also didn’t worked

already did both (I had a bug, where the database optimize would crash the server… that was like 5 days ago… I did a full database repair)
album art: plex music… are you sure, that it didn’t grabbed the art out of the internet?.. i think 2nd flush is an artist, where online lookup works

Okay wow… I have not Idea what is happening anymore… I used identical Settings like my Original Post… Every single Setting down to the last checkbox… with the legacy scanner… and with the original “bad” folder structure… and with the 2345*2345 album arts… and its working
…why?..
Do you know, what the absolut worst thing is?.. It only works on my Dummy library… after a Plex Dance my real Library still has no Arts…
I’ll let the library finish up completly and come back to tell you, if Plex just needed to finish the scan to show me the arts (that would be new for me… iirc it always showed arts while scanning but hey… anything can happen at this point)
