Plex “No Content” issue

Player Version#: 2025.30.0(1388)

Whenever I open the Plex app on my iPhone, I get the error “No Content” and none of my libraries show.

When I close and reload the app, it shows. So it’s not an issue with my server, it’s an app issue.

This is extremely annoying because I have to open the app twice every time I want to watch something.

This seems to be an issue with the latest update. I was not having this issue beforehand, but now I am constantly having this issue. It is debilitating and it honestly makes Plex impossible to use on my mobile device.

Is there any word on when this will be fixed? I did not pay for Plex Pass lifetime to experience such shoddy UI. Thank you.

Same here, but using Android. I have to close the app and/or clear app cache for my content to appear.

Same has been happening here too and continues with v2025.31.0(1431).

It appears there’s always a very lengthy delay while it verifies connections and often reports them incorrectly too (local vs remote etc) compared to accessing the same server(s) through app.plex.tv

Incredibly frustrating and needs to be addressed asap. This whole app experience continues to be a disaster.

I’m a new user and I’m so glad to hear this isn’t normal behavior. I was becoming quite disappointed in the performance and thought that was just the norm.

Apologize for the frustration of this bug. We are in the process of trying to get 2025.31.1 out the door as soon as possible, which should have a fix for this issue.

There is an iOS update today, it’s fixed :partying_face:

i gave it an update and played around with it a bit, and it looks like it is fixed. Sweet!

I’m curious how my TestFlight still seems to be stuck on 2025.3.0 (1431) but the regular App download has 2025.31.1 (1461) available?

Looks like someone did not add 2025.31.1 for TestFlight testers. Someone will do that as quickly as we can, sorry about that. :melting_face:

I had the same issue recently.

This version still has the bug on Android mobile. Some of my profiles show “No Content” while others work.
