Plex no longer importing newly added music album when doing a library scan, and I had to manually point it to some movie posters. It used to use them if the poster was the same name as the file itself.

I would get my best songs and create album via iTunes. This time I used my favorite songs from an artist, gave it an album name and everything an album would get. Every song has the info embedded into their info. Yet, this stupid program refused to accept we have the right to create own album. It looks on the net for album info, and if it recognize the artist, it won’t accept my album and throw the songs around. Same garbage even when I chose this is personal. Plex Team will play gods because they think they know what is best for us.
Check the drive the Plex DB is on isn’t nearly full. I’m running mine in a container and giving it more drive space as it needs it, but it’s more greedy than I expect. It was at 95-99% and adding music would add a blank icon with blank track names, no art. After giving it more drive space and hitting scan, it filled everything in properly.
