Not sure what has happened. Been a while since I have used Plex but now I find I can no longer access it from my iPhone XS iOS 12.3. Server is my iMac High Sierra.
Plex is up to date and indicates remote access is functioning. However, that is not the case and when I try to play a tune from my library or playlist, I receive a Playback Error message.
I am rusty and spoiled as this worked without a hitch for so long But now, I am lost. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
can you still access your server from this iPhone when accessing it from within your home network / WIFI?
I can access some video material but no music. I have 4 external drives that contain music. Have had them working with Plex for years. However, I now only have recently added music that show upon the iPhone desktop but none will play. If I select Music from the choices at the bottom of the screen on my iPhone, it only shows me a Tidal advert.
I know I have fallen behind with the Plex improvements but I am lost. Generally, all my hard drives would show up in the library but that view no longer exits on the mobile app. At least that I can find.
