Plex couldn’t connect to my library yesterday (running PMS and player on NVidia Shield, media files stored on an external USB drive), and after trying various things I attempted to upgrade the Plex Media Server app. This failed during the install so I uninstalled the server app and reinstalled. This seems to have worked but it’s now being set up ‘for the first time’ and wants my library to be set up from scratch (I tested re-adding a folder and it can load/play the files). My previous library is still showing in the Plex app, although it still can’t connect - is there a way to fix this connection so I don’t lose all the tags/collections/posters/playlists etc I have set up?
