PLEX not connecting via Ethernet

I have 2 Samsung smart TVs which are both having trouble connecting to PLEX. The newest one, purchased in 2016 is on our patio which we ran an Ethernet cable to from our cable (xfinity) router last Summer and it ran fine. Now, there is no connection, when I launch PLEX is reads Server Not Available. I hooked up a wireless router to the Ethernet cable and it appears to be receiving a signal from the router. Please advise on what could be wrong. Thanks!

Are they both 2016 models or later? They would be using different plex apps if one was a 2015 model or earlier and the other a 2016 model or later

There could be lots of reasons for this and it is not possible to determine the cause from the above information alone

There is a general support article which you can have a look at
Why can’t the Plex app find or connect to my Plex Media Server?

But just to try and understand the setup
Are you saying the samsungs work ok through wifi but not through a ethernet cable?

Are the samsungs linked to the same plex.tv account as that which the server is signed into?

DNS Rebinding Protection which could be in place in your router may be blocking the secure connection requests from the smasung app to the server. You could try by seeing if there is a setting in the app to allow fallback to insecure connections and you can set it to always

I see your server is not enabled for remote access. If you have DNS Rebinding Protection and it is blocking local network https plex.direct connections, then having server enabled for remote access would give the plex apps a route to the server through the public IP plex.direct url
