Hi there, I was very happy to see that a recent update to Plex has allowed me to see only my own embedded metadata for movie genres, rather than a combination of mine and the onlines. This however has highlighted another bug.
Most of my genres appear twice on the filter list. What I’ve realized is that Plex is not properly ignoring a space after a comma in the genre field. So, if my genre is “Drama” then it shows up on the list as Drama, but if I have another movie with “Comedy, Drama”, this second movie will have a separate “Drama” entry on the filter list. because of that space after the comma. Both items on the list will appear to not have a space in front, but then if I search in the filter for “Drama” they both show up, and if I search for " Drama" (with the space), only one shows up.
It would be much appreciated if this could be fixed!
