not sure if this is the right place to post, but I launched plex on PC a few days ago to update my library with new episodes etc and plex asked me if I wanted to use their new media detection system (or whatever it was called) I decided yeah, why not and now plex only detects specific media, regardless of what it’s named or even using the formats for titles suggested in the forums…the weird thing is before I selected this option plex would detect media 100% of the time and now it’s about 60% of the time…does anyone have any troubleshooting tips on how to fix this? because I’ve tried everything (I think). Thanks.
as stated in my post, I’ve tried all troubleshooting tips including the naming and such that is shown in the Plex guides…this issue has only risen since I opted into Plex’s new feature for finding library information, or whatever it was called, I don’t remember.
Then please show some examples of files which aren’t detected anymore, including their folder structure.
