Plex not finding all Albums in Artist folder

I have an issue where Plex only sees some of the albums that I add and not everything that I file.

Below is a screenshot of how I have all my music organized. You can see I have 8 albums from Melba Moore and Plex is only finding 7 albums. I have tried re-scaning the library and refreshing the metadata from the artist and Plex is still unable to find the album. I am sure I have more in my library like this example. Do you know how to force Plex to find all media?

From what I could find, that album has 1 song (“I can’t complain”) that’s assigned to multiple artists (Melba Moore + Freddie Jackson). That could mean the entire Album could be listed under “Various Artists”.

Not sure what agent you’re using (Plex Music vs. embedded metadata). If you’re using embedded metadata – make sure to set the “Album Artist” for that album to “Melba Moore”.

I am using the embedded media. I hear what you are saying about the various artists, I checked the “Album Artist” and it is set to “Melba Moore” I also tried searching the album in my Plex library and it does not appear.

I found that Plex mislabled the album as some other artist and changed the album cover. Which made it difficult to find.
