Plex not finding newly added files

i have the same issue but it is on unraid but my movie file is the only one that works. tv and music just stooped randomly

Would you mind sharing some more details…

  • have you checked Plex can see the files (permissions etc.)?
  • is it not recognizing some of the files or all of them? (e.g. can you still play files already scanned/matched?)
  • what server version do you have installed?
  • example of your file naming / folder structure

everything was able to be seen at one point in time but it just stoped recognizing it. tv it wont recognize the file when i scan it but music it recognizes the music but it dos not let me play it .
we are on version 1.18.3.2156

I just updated to 1.18.3.2156 and am having the same issue. I added a few tv shows and the ones that were already scanned and in the database showed up but a new tv show folder isn’t showing up. I have scanned the folder a few times. I also notice that now my remote access is going in and out randomly since updating.

Maybe, maybe not. I’ve got Version 1.18.3.2156 running and no issues with new TV shows.

Since it’s anew TV show folder are you sure it’s not a permission issue with the folder?

i can try setting up a new tv folder and see if it works

it flashes the library when it syncs and then just says it is There was an unexpected error loading this library.

Have you checked for a corrupt Plex database?

i can see them fine in the file but i cant see tv shows on plex it just says you have a issue go to forms

does this corruption sheet work with unraid or do you have to do it on the shared file side?

It works on the Plex Media Server, wherever it is installed.
