I recently tried to swap out drives on my QNAP and failed miserably, so I went back to my original setup. Unfortunately, some things weren’t working and I had to rebuild my entire database. I ended up deleting the entire PlexMediaServer folder on my QNAP and did a fresh install of the new version. I rebuilt my libraries and everything seems in order.
But for some reason, menus are loading very slow and for some reason some media refuses to play at all. I’ve attached my Plex logs here. If anyone can please tell me why this is happening, it would be greatly appreciated.
I would start by disabling IP V6 and see if it helps.
Thanks. I’ve disabled it.
So most files do work after all, some simply don’t load, or I have to reupload them to make them work. I got an error on one of my videos that said “error, shaka 1001”. I’m not sure if I have to rebuild my database again, which doesn’t seem to make sense, since it’s been completely rebuilt. I’m wondering if there’s a utility to test to see if my files or Plex database are indeed damaged or not working.
A new issue now is that some information in Plex itself doesn’t load. When I go to a TV show, for example, it will simply say unable to load for some reason. Any way to figure out why from the logs?
