Plex not sending the Password Reset email

I go to plex.tv, immediately asks for my email address, I fill it out, and it says an email has been sent.

But it has not. Nothing in Spam folder either.

This Plex security breach has everyone worried - I’d like to be able to change my password, as you have recommended. Ayone else having this problem???

Being on the server machine itself, on the plex Dashboard page, I was able to change password via the top-right account icon → Account Settings, and then change password, WITH that box ticked (that logs you out of all sessions).

Then a few panicked minutes of re-launching the server, seeing none of my libraries, and being told in the Dashboard page that my server was unclaimed. There was a button to Reclaim the server… and all seems OK now after another re-launch… good luck everyone… yikes. Thanks Plex! Secure your shizz

I found it took several HOURS to receive the reset PW email…

Plex’s email system is slammed right now.

As @LaZiOPLEX mentions, change the password via Account Settings: https://app.plex.tv/desktop/#!/settings/account

Doing so bypasses the e-mail system.

Check the box to sign out all connected devices when you change your password.
