Plex not sending verification email

This is a common problem for me too. I solved the problem by copying the verification link and send it directly from my email account.

I have the same problem. The verification email does not reach me. There is nothing in the spam filter and I had deactivated it before. I also whitelisted the mail addresses “noreply@plex.tv” and “hello@mail.plex.tv”. Can you please have a look what happens with the mails? I’m trying for about 1h now.

The email address has “bounced” once. You probably created it only after creating the plex account, right?
Bouncing email addresses land on a blacklist per default.

It has now been removed, you can try again.

I too am having this problem but with a different email. If someone can look into this that would be great.

Actually, I just got the email. Took ~1 hr or so, but other than that, there’s no issue.

I have created the e-mail address before. Can be that the provider was not set up as quickly as I created the account.
However, I get even now no confirmation mail, although I get the notification mails from the forum without any problems. However, these do not come from the domain plex.tv.

Update:
I received the email about an hour later. Now everything is ok.

I am not able to verify my email either. I am actually trying to change my email address but I need to verify my old one first and I never get the email

I am having issues with my account christinacunningham34@gmail.com I have tried multiple times to get the email to reset my password and it will not send and its not in my spam.

I’m having the same issue. Checked spam folders and nothing in there. I get Plex newsletter emails just fine, just not the verification email.

Having a similar situation with me updating my email. I just updated my email address and am not getting the verification email.

EDIT:

After about 10-20 minutes, literally a massive amount of verification emails starting coming through (including an email to my old address alerting me to my change). Looks like all is working now.

experiencing the same issue for [email removed]

my mailserver logs don’t show anything so I just assume here that that’s a plex’ mailserver side issue. Could you please look into it?

There is no Plex account which uses this address.

I am also not able to receive emails. confirmed my email is correct and it’s not in junk. I use hotmail/outlook and no luck here.

EDIT: i changed my email on my account from hotmail to outlook and it came through, even though its the same account.

@mdo42784 you other email was on a spam list because at some point in time you must have marked one of our emails as spam so the email server stops sending them. I removed it from spam list
